THIS SUNDAY

2 brothers from Florida are coming to Nambour this Sunday, to play at The Time Machine in their first ever Australian Tour. TONSTARTSSBANDHT (pronounced tahn-starts-bandit) feature Andy White who plays guitar in Mac DeMarco's band which I'm sure alot of ya's will get a little excited about. A little bit psych, a little bit garage, they'll be joined by GLADYYS from Brisbane and Dan and I are doing something as well, if we sort ourselves out. We don't even have a name yet, Dan suggested Apple Banana Orange which is absolutely awful, I said Nambourphans but he doesn't like that either. Should be fun!

6pm. Deliberating whether or not to make it 18+ due to some disrespectful things happening on the weekend, but we'll see.

REKKID ART.

Progress on the record wall at Headspace. This is where all the Kamahls, Rolf Harris's, Nana Mouskouri's and Demi Rousso's get a new lease on life, other than thrown in the bin. Lookin' pretty good eh?

 SUNDAY 21st DECEMBER at 6pm.
 TONSTARTSSBANDHT//GLADYYS// + ????
"Psychedelic wig-outs, Tonstartssbandht (pronounced tahn-starts-bandit), bring their prodigious musicianship to Australia this December and January!

“The best way to experience Tonstartssbandht isn't by clicking around their various releases - it's to hear what the two brothers create in a live setting.” - Pitchfork

Andy and Edwin White are two musically prodigious brothers from Florida that come together as Tonstartssbandht, producing self-proclaimed “psychedelic boogie rock”. Both musicians have their own amazing thing going on, Andy, for some, is better known as Mac DeMarco's new guitarist, while Edwin is also known for his solo project Eola.

They have a tricky name, but that's ok when their music is so damn good! These guys blaze through super tight long-form jams with a sound that builds and climbs, transcends and demolishes. Andy creates mellifluous and expansive sounds on his 12-string Danelectro, while Edwin’s driving killer drums (dam he's good) never drop a beat, together they create amazing harmonies, and musical journeys unmatched. It's garage, it's psych, it's country, it's all of the things! "
