About.

The Time Machine is a place full of wondrous things. We sell vinyl records (second-hand/new/independant), CD's, cassettes, DVD's/VHS, comics/books/magazines, posters/prints, toys, collectables, men and womens vintage clothing, antiques/nostalgia, local art and HEAPS more. We are always on the hunt for old and interesting things.

Founded by Shane Sullivan, a man known throughout Nambour for his kindness and generosity. A giver to the community, and helpful to the less fortunate. He even used to save his cigarette butts for a homeless man. Shane has now sadly passed on, but The Time Machine will continue.

Daniel Stuth, Barton Worthington and Benjamin Paskins are now the new proud owners. We took over the business in Mid-April 2012 and since then we haven't stopped cleaning/dusting or organising the plethora of interesting and unique items. As well as running the shop as normal we have started up some exciting new projects within The Time Machine, this includes the 'Big Bedroom' where we hold gigs and events. We have housed a bunch of Australian talent spanning across a variety of genres. We are now in the process of turning it into an incubator art space, where artists can rent the space and display their artworks with no commission taken on original artwork sold. We're pretty much here to help out with your creative endeavours.

So come into Nambour and see how much the place has changed. As well as us there's the Old Ambulance Station (80 Howard Street) which holds a gallery, Backbeat Records, a vintage clothing store and Gallery/artist shop. We're working together to help turn this dusty old town into the creative hub of The Sunshine Coast.
